Bloomberg Businessweek announced a new editor on Thursday, shuffling up its editorial structure.
According to three people at Bloomberg, Bloomberg Markets magazine editor Joel Weber will take over the company's flagship Businessweek magazine, succeeding current editor Megan Murphy.
The company also said in the memo that Christine Harper would replace Weber as the new editor of Markets, which was relaunched as a bi-monthly magazine in 2016.
I have stepped down as editor of Bloomberg Businessweek (heart breaks). Juggling being the parent I want to be with the demands of this fantastic, amazing magazine has taken it's toll. (For those who've wondered why I always seem to be in London!)

I am so proud of all this team has accomplished. I am so grateful they let me go along for the ride as we relaunched the magazine with a new design but the same commitment to killer journalism. I have been inspired on a daily basis by their creativity and their dedication.
