A day after Kerala received its first delayed monsoon, the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) said that a cyclone is heading towards Gujarat.

Cyclone Vayu has intensified in the Arabian Sea coast and it is causing heavy rains, winds and thunderstorms, according to media reports.

Though the cyclone caused heavy rains across the Western Coast of India including Mumbai, Pune, Gujarat, Konkan and Goa, it might cause more damage to the already delayed monsoons in the area.
