PM Narendra Modi had delivered his address note at the Chinese city of Sanghai and said, “Earlier, you felt ashamed of being born Indian. Now you feel proud to represent the country. Indians abroad had all hoped for a change in government last year".

Now, this tongue-in-cheek comment by the Prime Minister did’t really go down well with the Indian audiences because they think that PM has insulted his very own country by saying so. No wonder, soon after , it became a trending tweet and the netizens left no stones unturned to prove their disgust against Indian PM’s poor choice of words while making a public statement.

While Sanjay Jha of the Congress is one politician to raise his voice against Modi’s speech, there are many others who tweeted their sarcastic tweets on the micro-blogging site. Here’s a dekko!
