With the morning madness, you hardly have time for breakfast! You usually end up having a meal on the go. It deprives you of the energy you need to keep yourself going throughout the day. Don't know what to eat pre or post workout, the answer to all your questions is a protein bar.

Ask a health freak who loves sweating at the gym for hours about his meal, he would instantly say - Protein bar is the saviour.
It is because protein bars are nutritious and form a great way to keep yourself feeling full.

However the ones that are available in the market are filled with sugar and would do more harm to your health than you can ever think.

The best part is you can make these protein bars at home quite easily. One batch lasts for 15 days. We got in touch with Ashish Gupta, the director of 3 and a half. This gentleman bakes bars himself. Here’s his recipe for the sugar free nutritious protein bars.

Here’s all you need to make-

1. 25 gms puffed rice.
2. 25 gms flax seeds
3. 25 gms sunflower seeds
4. 25 gms pumpkin seeds
5. 25 gms watermelon seeds
6. 25 gms Musk melon seeds
7. 100 gms oats
8. 100 gms cornflakes

9. Almonds
10. 2 bananans ( finely chopped )
11. 50 gm oil
12. 50 gms honey
13. 100 gms dates ( finely chopped )

Method-
Mix ingredients 1-9 in a dry bowl.
In a pan , heat oil, add chopped bananas.
Add Chopped dates and honey.

Bring to a light boil.
Remove the pan from heat and mix it with other ingredients.
Make sure no lumps remain and all the dry ingredients are evenly coated.
Place butter paper in a baking tray and put the mixture.
Gently press the mixture, so no space is left between the mixture and spread it evenly.
Bake for 30 mins.

Use a pizza cutter to cut it in desired pieces.
Pack them in cling film and store in a cool place.
