Infosys issues Rs 574.23 crore worth bonus shares

Infosys has announced it has dispensed 114.84 crore bonus shares worth Rs 574.23 Crore.

"...the Board of Directors allotted 114,84,72,332 equity shares each aggregating Rs 574,23,61,660...as fully paid-up bonus shares in the ratio of 1 equity share for every 1 equity share held" Infosys said in a BSE filing.

The shares were issued to shake holders whose names appear on the register of members or beneficiaries as on June 16 this year.

The company had announced 1:1 equity bonus in April. Shareholders now have twice the number of shares they had earlier.
