Inside the £4,000 per week London home for rich Middle Eastern students

However, for the world's richest families, finding student accommodation for their sons and daughters is not only easy, it's also an exercise in luxury.
80 Park Lane in Mayfair - one of the most affluent places in London - just went on the market with luxury estate agent Wetherell and is targeted at accommodating wealthy foreign students.
While the property is worth £12.5 million, Wetherell says the owners are only focused on renting it out, rather than selling. It is perhaps unsurprising because the owners are asking £4,000 per week in rent. This works out at £16,000 per month and £192,000 per year in rent.
Wetherell told Business Insider that 80% of the enquiries have come from students from the Gulf region aged 16-21 and that the advertised rent is "standard student digs rent money to them."
