Back in 2011, LCD Soundsystem called it quits after a final show - with a subsequent documentary and live album from the show - at Madison Square Garden.
But now, five years later, the band is back. The band dropped a surprise new song,"Christmas Will Break Your Heart," on Christmas Eve and was officially announced as a headliner for the Coachella Music and Arts Festival yesterday.
And the band's website claims that other 2016 tour dates are coming soon.
It was previously reported that Guns N' Roses, including co-founders Axl Rose and Slash, would be reuniting for Coachella and a possible stadium tour. The last time the two co-founders played together was in 1993.
The two-weekend festival will take place April 15-17 and April 22-24.
