Meet David Taylor, new CEO of Procter & Gamble

Top American manufacturer Procter & Gamble has promoted P&G said that the 35-year company veteran Taylor will take over as CEO from November 1, with Lafley, 68 shifting to the role of executive chairman, reported AFP.
Taylor, 57, has held several senior management positions.
P&G, whose flagship products include Pampers diapers and Gillette Razors, is reducing its product lines, selling off some to competitors.
The group publishes its second-quarter results Thursday. Its net profit recently fell by 17% to $2.2 billion.
