Sam Bradford looked terrible and the Vikings are no longer undefeated. The Steelers are struggling without Ben Roethlisberger. The Broncos and Cowboys are still relying on young quarterbacks. Somewhere in Arizona, the Seahawks and Cardinals are still missing chip-shot field goals as this is being written.
In all seriousness, the Patriots really do feel a notch above everybody else in the NFL. Gronkowski is rounding into form. Legarrette Blount can't be stopped. Tom Brady missed the first four games of the regular season and is quickly playing himself into the MVP conversation.
Luckily, the bulk of the NFL season is still in front of us. Although another New England Super Bowl appearance feels likely right now, remember that we're not even in November.
There's plenty of football left.
