NFL WEEK 12: Our official predictions for who wins over Thanksgiving
Tony Avelar/Ap
Thanksgiving! Football!
I was out of the country last year for Thanksgiving (I know, I know), so this year I'm doubly excited to starve myself, eat way too fast, feel terribly ill, and then pass out on the couch watching some surprisingly good football.
Seriously, look at the slate! The Vikings-Lions are playing for first place in the NFC North, and both teams are 6-4. By now you know about the Cowboys, but the Redskins can really move the ball on offense. And even the Steelers vs. Colts will be fun - neither team plays defense, but by then you'll be in a food coma anyway!
Before I get to the picks (and I'm really trending in the wrong direction), I think it's worth saying that this year - like every year, but especially this year - it's worth taking some time away from sports and spending it with some people that make you happy.
And with that sentimental mumbo jumbo out of the way, to the picks!
