Nokia turns 150 year old today

Did you know, Nokia, a brand which is known as a smartphone manufacturer to many, was actually a pulp mill in Finland? The brand is celebrating its 150^th anniversary today, and we have found a pic that briefly depicts how the company’s evolved over years. After having a look at it, you would be overwhelmed to see how Nokia, which was originally a pulp mill in southwestern Finland in the 19^th century, rose to global prominence and became one of the largest selling smartphone brands across the globe. Nokia President and CEO Rajeev Suri beautifully sums up this entire journey in a single line: “Our history is one of change: from paper to cables, rubber boots to TVs, and mobile phones to the Nokia of today.”
