Did you know, Nokia, a brand which is known as a smartphone manufacturer to many, was actually a pulp mill in Finland? The brand is celebrating its 150th anniversary today, and we have found a pic that briefly depicts how the company’s evolved over years. After having a look at it, you would be overwhelmed to see how Nokia, which was originally a pulp mill in southwestern Finland in the 19th century, rose to global prominence and became one of the largest selling smartphone brands across the globe. Nokia President and CEO Rajeev Suri beautifully sums up this entire journey in a single line: “Our history is one of change: from paper to cables, rubber boots to TVs, and mobile phones to the Nokia of today.”
