Taiyyaba, a resident of Agra, hated whenever her father complained about the expenses as he could hardly earn enough for the family of five.

Tired of all the complaints, she decided to seek help from no one else but our very own Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

While watching television one day, she thought of writing to Modi and seeking help from him.

Taiyyaba in her letter explained Modi that doctors said her treatment could cost between Rs 15 and Rs 20 lakh and sought financial help.
Her family was shocked when they received a letter from Prime Minister's Office, asking for details. The office has directed the Delhi Government to see that Taiyyaba

gets proper treatment, regardless of the cost.

"My father always used to remain tense and I had seen on television that the prime minister helps everybody. I am an Indian and have the right to live so this idea struck me and I wrote to the Prime Minister, asking him to help me," said Taiyyaba.

The Delhi Government has directed Guru Teg Bahadur hospital to begin Taiyyaba's treatment and her doctor, SK Kalra, has advised the family to taker to Delhi.

"When this girl first came to me four to five years back she was diagnosed with congenital heart disease due to which the valves were defected and the big arteries were not in the right place. She often contracts cold and cough, suffers from anaemia, breathlessness and proper growth was not taking place. Her condition required special treatment which is not available in Agra and is quite expensive," Dr Kalra told news agencies.

PM Modi’s help has relieved the family for now.
