Piku To Be Promoted Unusually, Says Amitabh Bachchan

Amitabh Bachchan, who has established himself as the megastar of Indian cinema, would next be seen in Shoojit Sircar’s Piku. As the PR team gears up for its release, he has said that the movie would be promoted in an unusual manner.

Bachchan declared the news on his official blog. “The shoot for the PR of ‘Piku’ has begun and there are some most unusual works being done. Today we were a part of it along with Deepika and Irrfan. Unfortunately I am not permitted to expose them here, but may I just say that they all look rather unusual and hilarious … !!”

In the movie that is due to release on April 30th, Senior Bachchan would be seen playing the role of the father of Deepika Padukone, who plays the title role of Piku. This would be the second time that he plays Deepika's father, after Prakash Jha’s Aarakshan, which released in 2011.
