Pooja Bhatt to come back to acting with a role “reverse” to her debut movie Daddy

Pooja Bhatt, who was last seen in her father’s 1998 movie Zakhm is all set to make her acting comeback after 18 long years. Her comeback movie would be written by her father Mahesh Bhatt, who had directed her in Zakhm and has given up on direction after the 1999 movie Kartoos.

The 43-old-actor was first seen in the 1989 with Daddy, which was also directed by Mahesh Bhatt. While Daddy was about a young daughter who decides to save her father from getting destroyed at the hands of alcoholism, her comeback movie will be its “reverse”.

She will be seen playing an ambitious woman, who gets busy chasing her career and leaves her daughter to earn money and fame.

As per Pooja, she didn’t do films after Zakhm as she didn’t want to be just an “arm-candy”. This script however is demanding, which is why she has decided to make a comeback.

The production would start as soon as they find a director, but we think that Mohit Suri won’t be a bad choice after all, given that he anyway directs a lot of movies coming from the Bhatt banner.
