Belgian police officers patrol at the Thalys high-speed train terminal at Midi/Zuid railway station in Brussels, Belgium, January 7, 2016.

Shots were fired and a police officer was slightly injured during a raid on a house in Brussels on Tuesday, a police spokeswoman said, though she declined comment on media reports that counter-terrorism units were involved.

It was not clear whether the injured officer was hit by gunfire, she said. The incident, in the southern suburb of Forest, was continuing.

Belgian security forces are still hunting suspects and associates of Brussels-based militants involved in the Islamist attacks in Paris on Nov. 13 in which 130 people were killed.
