A pop world war has been avoided. Taylor Swift has apologized to Nicki Minaj after feuding on Twitter since Tuesday.

Here's what went down previously: Swift and Minaj had some words on Twitter after the MTV Video Music Awards were announced on Tuesday. Minaj, whose "Anaconda" video wasn't nominated for Video of the Year, wrote a tweet about racial bias in the awards world.

Well, Swift took it personally (obviously, as she's the only white person nominated for Video of the Year) and tweeted/inferred that Minaj was pitting women against each other:

In the time since Tuesday, others started weighing in -- including pop star Katy Perry. She says in her tweet that she finds it strange that someone is accusing another of pitting women against each other, when that person makes money off the very same thing. While no names were used, she seemed to be siding with Minaj on this one and referring to reports that she was the subject of Swift's song, "Bad Blood."

Perry then brought best pal Rihanna into it. She felt that RiRi's video for "B***h Better Have My Money" should've been nominated:

That's a lot of pop princesses in one feud. It remains to be seen if Swift's apology tweet shuts down the conflict.
