The 25 highest-paying non-desk jobs

It turns out you don't need an "office job" if you're after a high salary.

Some of the most lucrative careers in the US are non-desk jobs, according to an analysis of data provided by Economic Modeling Specialists Intl. (EMSI), CareerBuilder's labor market data arm that pulls from over 90 government and private resources.

While most of the highest-paying non-desk jobs are medical professions that require a doctoral or professional degree, there are at least 170 non-desk occupations out there that pay $15 per hour or more, on average, and do not require a bachelor's degree, EMSI found.

Here are the top-paying options for those who can't stand the idea of a desk or cubicle:
