The Boston Celtics used their special, New England weapon to try and recruit Kevin Durant.
On Saturday, as the Celtics prepared for their free agency meeting with Durant in the Hamptons in New York, a Twitter user caught Patriots quarterback Tom Brady among the Celtics contingency.
Brady was also with Celtics GM Danny Ainge, forward Kelly Olynyk, and guard Marcus Smart.

As several people have noted, Durant respects Brady's talent on the field.

The Celtics have not been mentioned among the front-runners to sign Durant. They also seemingly are furthest away from competing for a championship among Durant's other suitors, the Warriors, Spurs, Thunder, Clippers, and Heat.
But perhaps Brady's presence would be enough to entice Durant to sign in Boston.
