This Hilarious Video by 3 IITians perfectly sums up The Biggest Problem with our Indian Matrimonial Ads

What's going to make your day today is a sweet effort by three IITians in subtly reproaching the societal way of finding yourself the 'right' match.

In their video titled 'Be Our Pondati' (Pondati means wife in Tamil), parodying singer Carly Rae Jepsen’s song - ‘Call Me Maybe’, three final-year students (Asmita Ghosh, Anukripa Elango and Krupa Varghese) enact in a rather funny way the typical Indian matrimonial ads. Where tall, thin and light-skinned girls who makes round chapatis is the most desirable!

The video was originally intended as an campus entry piece for a Sir Mix-A-Lot parody contest. However, the lyrics and stellar performance by Krupa Varghese - the actor in the video - has left social media abuzz about the honesty and simplicity with which she has delivered cultural stereotypes. Those expressions are to die for!
