It has finally happened. We have been successful in our quest of finding the strongest coffee in the world.

Viscous Cafe in Adelaide, Australia is serving a coffee called ‘Ass Kicker,’ which is rumoured to contain the caffeine equivalent of 80 standard brews thus becoming the strongest coffee in the world.

Apparently, this beverage was first made to cater to the needs of an emergency department nurse who needed to stay awake. She consumed the drink over a period of two days and it managed to keep her up for three whole days.

It was then that the Viscous Cafe decided to make this concoction available for sale to the general public, However, Sam Benington, the cafe owner has reportedly ‘toned it down a little’ but the beverage still comes with a warning that it is not for the faint hearted.

While talking to Mashable, Benington also stated that the drink tastes more like toffee than coffee and is designed to be consumed over a long period of time. According to him, the drink is intended to "lift you up and keep you there instead of peaking through the roof and dumping you hard later."

As good as that sounds, there’s also no escaping the fact that the beverage may pose a serious risk to health if consumed too quickly or by those with high-blood pressure.

Approximately 18 grams of caffeine consumed over a couple of hours is enough to kill a person. The Ass Kicker has 5 grams in just one cup.

So, now that you have all the details, we have to ask you this- Are you going to taste the Ass Kicker ?
