It seems that when it comes to customer loyalty, foreign brands in India are leading the way.

According to TRA survey, Samsung topped the list of India’s most consumer-focused brands 2019, showing where Indians were most likely to spend their disposable income. Samsung was followed by Tata Motors, Apple, Hero and MotorCorp.

The study ranked top 500 consumer brands in India based on patterns on a ‘buying propensity index’.

“Samsung showed an upward projection of eight ranks to secure the top position on the list this year. The South Korean conglomerate dominates the Indian market by displaying its determined supremacy through complete consumer focus, thus dominating their mind and perception, said the report.

Of the 11,000 brands studied, only 500 brands improved their ‘buying propensity’ over the last year. Tata Motors, which was not on the list last year, is the new entrant securing second position. It is also the most consumer-focused four-wheeler manufacturer brand in India.
