In car navigation systems have been doing the rounds in India since quite some time now. They had a brilliant start and many wanted one in their car. However with the introduction of Android OS with Google maps on mobiles and many mid to high-end phones coming with GPS capabilities, the trend of owning an in car navigation device has gone down quite a bit. High price of a PND can also be blamed for the dip.

TomTom is giving free lifetime maps with these devices and users can update the maps 4 times in a year. TomTom has priced them reasonably as well. The TomTom Start 20 is priced at Rs 9,499 and Start 25 can be picked up for Rs 10,999.
