Top American companies are coming to India next month on smart cities mission

The United States is assisting India in building smart cities and a delegation of top American companies will be visiting the country for the same in February.
The delegation led by US Deputy Secretary of Commerce Bruce Andrews will come in India on Smart Cities Infrastructure Business Development Mission and tour Delhi, Mumbai and Chennai.
Also, US will develop smart cities in Allahabad, Ajmer and Vishakhapatnam as a part of an agreement signed between both the nations.
Meanwhile, the delegation will see the prospects of increasing businesses in India, focusing on technologies, safety and security and transportation.
"US industry stands ready and able to help India make its cities more sustainable - an effort that will greatly benefit India's economic growth and our world's ability to address a changing climate," said Andrews.
PM Modi wants to develop 100 smart cities in the India and create sustainable economic development.
