Warren Buffett just donated $2.8 billion to 5 foundations

In a statement, Berkshire Hathaway announced that its CEO had gifted over 20 million class "B" shares to five foundations.
This years recipient were the Bill and Melinda Gates, Susan Thompson Buffett, Sherwood, Howard G. Buffett, and NoVo Foundations
Last year, Buffett set a personal record by donating $2.8 billion. He has been donating annual gifts for ten years now, since he gave over 10 million shares to the Bill and Melinda Gates foundation.
In 2010, Buffett also signed "The Giving Pledge" along with Bill Gates and Mark Zuckerberg promising to give away half of his wealth over time.
