Aldi is expanding its organic and gluten-free offerings in a bid to attract more health-conscious consumers.

That's exciting news for many bargain hunters, as Aldi is one of the cheapest stores in the US to buy groceries.

It will also make Aldi more competitive with Whole Foods' new lower-cost chain, 365 by Whole Foods Market, that's launching this year.

Aldi's prices on fresh produce and packaged goods are roughly 30% lower than Walmart's, according to a recent price check.

We decided to check out an Adli store in Richmond, Virginia, to see how it compares to traditional grocery stores.
