Associated Press
One of the brothers of Las Vegas shooter Stephen Paddock was reportedly arrested Wednesday morning on suspicion of possessing child pornography.
Bruce Paddock was detained by authorities in the Los Angeles neighborhood of North Hollywood, a source told the Los Angeles Times.
The child pornography investigation predates the Las Vegas shooting, which occurred on October 1, one official told the Associated Press.
Bruce Paddock has only rarely granted media interviews following the shooting, unlike his other brother Eric Paddock, who has spoken to the media frequently.Neither are considered suspects in the Las Vegas shooting.
Bruce Paddock told NBC News earlier this month that he had been interviewed twice by the FBI and that he suspected Stephen Paddock had financial difficulties that may have motivated the massacre.
