A terminal at Frankfurt International Airport was evacuated on Tuesday following reports that someone had walked past security without permission.
Police stopped passengers from boarding flights and cleared out the security zone of Area A of Terminal of the airport just after 12 p.m. local time.
An adult and a child had managed to skip the airport's security checks, leading police to place a lockdown on the area, Maximilian Kiewel, a journalist at Germany's Bild newspaper, tweeted.
Videos posted on social media showed dozens of people streaming out of the terminal.
