It seems like Bollywood has kept its best for the last. Dodging any signs of demonetisation, Dangal, Aamir Khan's ambitious biopic on Mahavir Singh Phogat and the first family of wrestling, which has been garnering rave reviews opened to packed houses yesterday.
The film registered a whopping 75 per cent occupancy in morning shows and theatres are already booked for the festive weekend.
The film which released in India across 4,300 screens is believed to have raked over Rs 30 crore just on day 1, which effectively means it opening day collections are way better than Dear Zindagi and Befikre. If the movie keeps up its box-office collections, it may well cross the Rs 100 crore mark in just three days.
