  • So next time you work on your Reel, here are some tips that might come handy.
Instagram Reels started as a TikTok clone but is now emerging as an important medium for content creators and businesses to reach out to their audiences.

While Reels are around 15-30 seconds long, it can take hours to come up with an idea, work on the script, film it, edit it and finally Reel it.

The right content, when used to target the right audience, at the right time can push brand engagement, without seeming interruptive. However, it can be challenging to tick all the boxes.

So, here are a few Do’s and Don’ts you can keep in mind to become the top choice of your audience this year.

Instagram’s new short-video feature is looking to capture the market share left behind after TikTok was banned in the Indian market. In the global market, the Chinese app is its biggest competitor. Launched in August 2020, Reels is already becoming a key part of brands’ content marketing strategy.

You did not need to be an editing expert to become a successful TikToker. Now, Instagram Reels is working towards improving its UI easier for its community and beating TikTok at its own game.

Instagram Reels Director, Tessa Lyong-Laing hinted that more updates may be in the pipeline. “We continue to improve Reels based on people’s feedback, and these updates make it easier to create and edit. While it’s still early, we’re seeing a lot of entertaining, creative content,” she said in a statement.
