Ananya Panday, the 23-year-old Bollywood actor and an animal lover, has bagged yet another brand in her kitty. She is now the face of Pet Food brand, Drools and represents young brands such as Skechers, VEGA, Esprit, ONLY, Fastrack, Lakmé and Gillette Venus.

In the age of social media, Millennial and Gen Z actors have an inherent advantage and are considered to have a relatively higher social media quotient. As a creator that caters to GenZ and with 21.1 million followers on Instagram and 400k million followers on Twitter, Ananya has become a coveted option for brands. A report by Duff & Phelps released in 2019 talks about how the fresh coterie of millennial and Gen Z celebrities have changed the marketing landscape.

“This new student in B-Town has captured the attention of not only Indian audiences but also some well-known product brands. With brands like Lakmé, Gillette, and Cadbury in her kitty, she is likely to excel with good grades,” says the report about Ananya’s brand equity.
