Ever since its launch in 2008, the Indian Premier League (IPL) has almost become a celebration, of our country’s love for cricket. Such has become the fervor around the sporting league that it is looked at as one of the biggest marketing opportunities for brands.

Over the years, the league has become a crucial event which sees a massive advertising spend. And why not? The tournament gives brands an opportunity to reach out to a massive, engaged set of audience who are glued to their television sets for the entirety of the tournament.
