Top ten grocery brands in India, as per YouGov Report

1. Amazon Pantry

Amazon Pantry tops YouGov’s Retail Rankings 2021 in India within the grocery sector. The e-commerce giant expanded its pantry service to over 300 cities across the country, providing unparalleled support during the Covid-19 pandemic.

2. Big Bazaar

Future Retail’s Big Bazaar is placed second (21.1). The brands in YouGov Retail Rankings were ranked based on their Index score, which is calculated by taking the average of impression, quality, value, satisfaction, recommend and reputation over a year.

3. DMart

DMart came third with 18.7 brand score. Its strong commitment towards providing affordable prices may have further helped it strengthen its position among the price-conscious consumers amidst the pandemic.

4. Flipkart Supermart

Flipkart’s e-grocery brand Flipkart Supermart is next on the list occupying fourth place (18.3).

5. Big Basket

One of India’s largest online supermarkets, Big Basket, occupied the fifth spot with 17.1 brand score.

6. Reliance Smart

Featuring on number six position is Reliance Smart with a brand score of 16.0.

7. Grofers

Online grocery delivery platform Grofers that recently announced its 10-minute delivery plan, is placed seventh with a brand score of 11.3.

8. Spencer's

Retail chain Spencer takes the eighth (6.8) place in the rankings.

9. Nature's Basket

Following Spencer's is its subsidiary brand Nature’s Basket at ninth spot with 5.4 brand score.

With a 4.9 brand score, More Store featured on 10th spot.
