By: BI India BureauAmazon Pantry tops YouGov’s Retail Rankings 2021 in India within the grocery sector. The e-commerce giant expanded its pantry service to over 300 cities across the country, providing unparalleled support during the Covid-19 pandemic.

Future Retail’s Big Bazaar is placed second (21.1). The brands in YouGov Retail Rankings were ranked based on their Index score, which is calculated by taking the average of impression, quality, value, satisfaction, recommend and reputation over a year.

DMart came third with 18.7 brand score. Its strong commitment towards providing affordable prices may have further helped it strengthen its position among the price-conscious consumers amidst the pandemic.

Flipkart’s e-grocery brand Flipkart Supermart is next on the list occupying fourth place (18.3).

One of India’s largest online supermarkets, Big Basket, occupied the fifth spot with 17.1 brand score.
