Shopaholics, gather around. We have news!

As it turns out, the stage is finally all set for H&M’s first store opening in Mumbai. The international retail brand will open its doors to the city on August 13 at the High Street Phoenix, Lower Parel.

Situated at the landmark location in the High Street Phoenix courtyard, the new store will be spread over 31,000 sq. ft, and will be a full-concept flagship, offering 2 floors of latest trends, timeless classics and inspiration for women, men, teenagers and children.

Committed to expand its reach in this city, H&M will also have another store launch lined up at Phoenix Marketcity, Kurla on August 25 and then open a third store at Inorbit Mall, Malad.

It could be said that H&M launching a store in Mumbai's High Street Phoenix which is comfortably located in South Mumbai could be a game-changer for the brand when it comes to its business against rival Forever 21, whose absence from the mall can be seen as a disadvantage. At present, Forever 21 is located in Malad, Goegaon and Thane in Mumbai.

The first three fashionistas in queue will be presented with gift cards worth Rs. 10,000, Rs. 7,000 and Rs. 5,000 respectively, while the next 500 in queue will receive gift cards valued at Rs. 1000 each.
