Akhilesh Yadav revoked into the party a day after expulsion

A day after his expulsion, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav has been revoked in to the party. After a high voltage drama yesterday, Samajwadi Party chief Mulayam Singh Yadav had ousted his son and cousin Ram Gopal Yadav for anti-party activities.

"As per the directions of Netaji (Mulayam Singh Yadav), the expulsion of Akhilesh Yadav and Ram Gopal Yadav has been revoked with immediate effect," Samajwadi Party leader Shivpal Singh Yadav tweeted. He also added that the party will fight assembly polls together.

Earlier today, Akhilesh had met SP legislators where more than 200 MLAs out of 229 turned up and expressed their loyalty to him.
