The iPhone 11 India launch is currently rumoured for 27 September. Business Insider will publish the details as and when we receive the official confirmation.

iPhone 11 specifications

The iPhone 11 could be the most affordable model released this year and is likely to replace the iPhone XR. While reports have suggested that Apple could finally shift to OLED panels for all its iPhones from 2019, the leak suggests that the iPhone 11 could sport a 6.1-inch LCD panel.

Apart from this, the leak also reveals that the iPhone 11 would be powered by the Apple A13 chipset, paired with 4GB of RAM and 64GB, 256GB or 512GB of internal storage.

The iPhone 11 is also said to feature a dual-camera setup, with two 12-megapixel snappers. On the front, it could feature a 12-megapixel camera, which should help in improving the quality of portrait shots. The leak also states that it will support Face ID.

Other features of the iPhone 11 could include “bilateral” wireless charging, a feature that would allow wireless charging of the new AirPods directly with the iPhone 11. A 3,110mAh battery is said to power the iPhone 11. However, noted Apply analyst Ming Chi Kuo has claimed that this feature may not be available.

iPhone 11 Pro, iPhone 11 Max specifications

The iPhone 11 Pro, despite its ‘Pro’ moniker, could end up being the most compact smartphone of the three with its 5.8-inch OLED display. The display resolution could be 2436 x 1125 pixels, resulting in a pixel density of 458ppi.

In terms of performance, the iPhone 11 Pro could be powered by the Apple A13 chipset, paired with 6GB of RAM. This would be a first for an iPhone – Apple has traditionally been conservative with respect to the amount of RAM, but this could be changing.

As far as imaging is concerned, the iPhone 11 Pro could feature a triple camera setup on the back with three 12-megapixel cameras. On the front, it could feature a 12-megapixel selfie camera.

Other features of the iPhone 11 Pro could remain the same as those of the standard model. One interesting addition could be Apple Pencil support, which could not only pit the iPhone 11 Pro against the Galaxy Note series, but also start a new stylus war across the smartphone industry.
