Debdatta is the Editorial Head for Business Insider India. She has been a business journalist for close to a decade. She has worked with some of the most prestigious news organisations in the country, including The Hindu Business Line, NDTV Profit and ET Now covering a wide variety of matters including Indian corporate houses, government's macroeconomic policies, business frauds and scams such as the Satyam fraud, the 2G scam case and the mining scam case at the Supreme Court. Over the last year she has been commissioning business books for the country's largest publishing house, Penguin Random House India. She strongly believes that the future of journalism lies in the digital space.
