  • Here’s how much the top electric cars are priced across Indian cities.
Globally people have already made the shift to electric vehicles (EV), but the landscape is still nascent in India. With people turning conscious about the environment and the impact of climate change, the momentum is slowly building up; and the energy revolution is here to stay.

There’s already a fierce competition with the top carmakers like Tata, Hyundai and Mahindra having already launched their electric cars — and other industry players are now scratching the segment. While global EV market leader Tesla has hinted at entering the Indian market, Jaguar and Renault are gearing up to launch their first all-electric cars.

Here’s how the top electric cars are priced across Indian cities:

Tata Nexon EV

The battery-powered version of the Nexon launched earlier this year in India has garnered a massive response from buyers. The car comes with a 30.2 kWh battery, capable of producing 127 PS of maximum power and 245 Nm of peak torque.

The Nexon EV was introduced in three trims - XM, XZ+, and XZ+ Lux. Dual-pod headlamps, LED tail lights, a seven-inch touchscreen infotainment system and 16-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels are some of the key highlights of the car.
