The Mahindra XUV400 comes in two models – EC and EL. The main difference between the two variants is the battery pack offered and the charging speed.

The Mahindra XUV400 EC with a 3.3 kW charger is priced at ₹15.99 lakh. The XUV400 EC with a 7.2 kW charger is priced at ₹16.49 lakh. The top-end XUV400 EL with a 7.2 kW charger is priced at ₹18.99 lakh.

While the XUV400 EC is equipped with a 34.5 kWh battery pack, the top-end XUV400 EL offers a 39.4 kWh battery pack.

The Mahindra XUV400 EC is claimed to offer a range of 375 km and the XUV400 EL is claimed to offer a range of 456 km on a single charge.

The Mahindra XUV400 features a similar design as the XUV300 and comes with a closed-off grille, 16-inch machined alloy wheels and a bronze accent theme on the sides.

Both variants of the XUV400 are powered by the same electric motor that delivers 150 PS and 310 Nm of peak torque.

The Mahindra XUV400 electric SUV can go from 0 to 100 in just 8.3 seconds.

The Mahindra XUV400 will be available for bookings from January 26, 2023. The company has said that it will start delivering the electric SUV from March 2023 for the EL variant and during Diwali for the EC variant.
