The GT Black Series gets a 3,982cc twin-turbocharged V8 petrol engine with seven-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission. This engine generates 720bhp between 6,700 and 6,900rpm and 800Nm between 2,000 and 6,000rpm.

It can zip from 0 to 100kmph in just 3.2 seconds and tops out at 325kmph.

GT Black Series features an enormous Pan-Americana radiator grille, a front bumper with air curtains, fins, and a splitter with an extension that dominates the front end

The body panels in this Black Series model, such as the front splitter, bonnet, side-view mirrors, tailgate, side skirts, roof, rear diffuser, and rear wing, are made from carbon fibre.

Mercedes-AMG GT Black Series is equipped with AMG coil-over suspension along with AMG Ride Control, manually adjustable camber, anti-roll bars and ceramic brakes.

The interior of the car is wrapped in black Nappa leather coupled with orange stitching. It also gets matt black carbon fibre trim and the AMG Interior Night Package.

The car is a track-focused version of the standard AMG GT. On the outside, you get a more aggressive aero package including a front splitter, redesigned bonnet and bumper and a large rear spoiler.
