India’s richest man, Mukesh Ambani has been spotted using a new bulletproof car in Mumbai. The billionaire is often seen in a bulletproof car, accompanied by a security convoy.

A new video from CS12 Vlogs on YouTube has captured Ambani travelling in a Mercedes-Benz S680 Guard, a new addition to his garage.

Mukesh Ambani was earlier using the Mercedes-Benz S600 Guard and may have upgraded his ride.

The Mercedes-Benz S680 Guard being used by Ambani looks like a normal Mercedes-Benz luxury sedan from the outside but has been upgraded to offer more security.

The Mercedes-Benz S680 Guard being used by Ambani is equipped with armour protection, featuring a special integrated shell.

The car also comes with bullet-proof and blast-proof multi-layer protective glass which is around 3.5 to 4-inch thick. The car also comes with a polycarbonate layer for splinter protection.

The car is reportedly around 2 tons heavier than a standard car, due to the modifications. The doors reportedly weigh 250 kg each.

The increased weight also requires a powerful engine. It is equipped with a 6.0-litre V12 engine that delivers 603.6 hp of power and 830 Nm of peak torque.

It’s not just the body that has been modified. The car comes with reinforced tires that can run flat at speeds of up to 80 km per hour.
