Honda has revealed its Civic 2022 in prototype form with a whole lot of design changes on the exterior, interior, and various tech additions.
The company said while the model showcased recently is a prototype, most of the highlights will make their way into the actual car set for a launch next year.
Although the company hasn’t revealed the interiors of the new Civic, it noted that the car would get a modern dashboard layout as compared to the current model.

The Civic has been one of the important cars in the Japanese carmaker’s portfolio since its first appearance in 1973. From then to date, the sedan has undergone several iterations, and this one will be the eleventh generation of the car.
The company said the model showcased recently is a prototype; most of the highlights will make their way into the actual car set for a launch next year. A prototype of cars is usually the early samples designed to test a concept or process.

The new Honda Civic 2022 has got a completely different front design from its predecessor. It comes with a more emphatic grille, sleeker LED headlights, and a wide honeycomb air intake with glossy black surrounds.
The sedan's rear profile now appears to stand wider than before and has received notable changes, such as a larger pair of LED taillights, a new spoiler, and an upgraded dual exhaust tip.

The all-new Honda Civic 2020 prototype comes with 19-inch black wheels, which complement the Solar Flare Pearl body colour of the car.
The company has confirmed that the new Civic will be available in four models — a hatchback, executive sedan, performance-oriented Si model, and high-performance R model once it hits the production line.

Although the company hasn't revealed the new Civic's interiors but noted that the car would get a modern dashboard layout compared to the current model. The car will feature a nine-inch touchscreen infotainment system and a fully digital instrument panel, and the safety suite will include multiple airbags and several driver-assistive technologies.
