Electric two-wheeler registrations in India fell 23 percent in April amid subsidy controversies.

In April, India registered 66,466 electric two-wheelers on the VAHAN portal, marking a nearly 23 percent decline from the 86,151 E2Ws registered in March 2023. Ola Electric was the only manufacturer to exceed five-digit registrations, while most other players in the industry experienced a significant decline in sales.
