The iQube ST is the premium offering in the company’s iQube lineup and competes with the likes of the Ather 450X and the Ola S1 Pro.
With so many options available, it is easy to get confused about which electric scooter you should buy. To help you decide, we have compared the three electric scooters.
Prices in Bengaluru
As they are all premium electric scooters, all three perform well when it comes to performance.
The TVS iQube ST is equipped with a 4.4 kW PMSM motor that can develop a torque of 33 Nm. It offers a top speed of 82 km per hour and can go from 0 to 40 in 4.2 seconds.
Coming to the Ather 450X, it is equipped with a 6.2 kW PMS motor that develops a max torque of 26 Nm. It has a top speed of 90 km per hour and can go from 0 to 40 in just 3.3 seconds.
The Ola S1 Pro, despite being the cheapest of the lot, is quite powerful. It is equipped with a 11 kW motor that can develop 58 Nm of torque. It offers a top speed of 120 km per hour and goes from 0 to 40 in just 2.6 seconds.
When it comes to offering high-speed and quick acceleration, the Ola S1 Pro is ahead of its competitors.
The TVS iQube ST is powered by a 5.1 kWh battery pack and is claimed to offer a range of 150 km on a single charge.
The Ather 450X is equipped with a 3.7kWh battery which is claimed to offer a range of 110 km on a single charge.
On the other hand, the Ola S1 Pro comes with a 4kWh battery pack, which is claimed to offer a range of up to 180 km in Eco mode and 143 km in Normal mode.
The TVS iQube ST, which comes with the biggest battery among the three scooters takes 4 hours and 18 minutes to charge from 0 to 80%.
The Ather 450X, which comes with a smaller 3.7kWh battery takes 4 hours and 30 minutes to charge from 0 to 80%.
The Ola S1 Pro, which features a 4kWh battery pack takes 6 hours and 30 minutes to charge from 0 to 100%.
One thing that you need to keep in mind is that while Ather Energy and Ola Electric have fast charging infrastructure in place across the country, TVS Motor currently does not have any fast charging facility.
