Here is the list of all upcoming electric cars with expected features and prices in India in the year 2022-2023. Our list includes cars from brands like Mahindra, BMW, Hyundai, Tata and more.

BYD Atto 3 | Starting from ₹30 lakh

BYD is expected to launch the Atto 3 in India on October 11. The electric SUV will be the second offering of BYD in India and may offer a claimed range of up to 420km.

Hyundai IONIQ 5 | Starting from ₹50 lakh

IONIQ 5 is expected to launch in India by the end of 2022. The car could come in two battery options: 58kWh and 72.6kWh, with ranges of 384km and 481km, respectively.

Skoda Enyaq iV | Starting from ₹60 lakh

This Skoda EV is expected to be launched by January 2023. Internationally, it gets the option of three battery packs: 52kWh, 58kWh, and 77kWh. The bigger 77kWh battery pack has a claimed range of up to 510km.

Tata Altroz EV | Starting from ₹14 lakh

It is likely to be launched by the end of 2022. It is likely to pack Tata’s Ziptron tech and a 129PS electric motor fed using a 30.2kWh battery unit with a claimed range of 312km.

BMW i7 | Starting from ₹2 crore

It is expected to go on sale in India by 2023-2024. The i7 will be offered as a high-performance, dual-electric limo packed with a 101.7kWh battery pack and a claimed range of 625km.

Hyundai Ioniq | Starting from ₹20 lakh

According to the company, the IONIQ 5 electric hatchback will be launched in India in the second half of 2022. Globally, the Ioniq electric is offered with a 28kWh lithium-ion battery and has a claimed range of 280km.

Hyundai Kona Electric 2022 | Starting from ₹23.75 lakh

Kona Electric 2022 is expected to launch in India by 2023. It gets two battery packs: 64kWh and 39.2kWh and a claimed range of 300-400km on a single charge.

Mahindra XUV400 EV | Starting from ₹17 lakh

Mahindra has already showcased XUV400 EV and the electric SUV is all set to launch in 2023 January. The XUV400 EV houses a 39.4kWh battery with an ARAI-certified range of 456km.
