Volvo has launched the C40 Recharge, the company’s second electric car in India. The company had launched the XC40 Recharge in the country in 2022.

Volvo has not revealed the Indian pricing of the C40 Recharge yet. It is expected to be priced around ₹60 lakh. It will go on sale starting from August.

The Volvo C40 Recharge is equipped with a dual-electric motor that generates 405bhp and 660 Nm of peak torque.

The Volvo C40 Recharge is equipped with a 12-inch instrument cluster, a 9-inch infotainment display, panoramic sunroof, automatic climate control, ventilated seats and more.

The Volvo C40 Recharge is equipped with a 78kWh battery pack. It can be charged from 10 to 80 percent in 27 minutes using the 150kW DC fast charger.

The Volvo C40 Recharge is claimed to offer a range of up to 530 km on a single charge.

The Volvo C40 Recharge is available in six colour options – Cloud Blue, Crystal White, Fjord Blue, Fusion Red, Onyx Black and Sage Green.
