German automaker BMW has launched the X4 M40i, its latest luxury SUV in India.

The BMW X4 M40i will be built in Germany and will be imported as a completely built unit (CBU).

The BMW X4 M40i comes with a price tag of ₹96.20 lakh ex-showroom in India.

The luxury SUV comes with a revamped design over its predecessor, including a blacked-out kidney grille, active LED headlights, 20-inch alloy wheels and dual exhausts with black-chrome finish.

The BMW X4 M40i is equipped with a 3-litre 6-cylinder turbo-petrol engine mated with a 48V mild hybrid system.

The BMW X4 M40i has a maximum power output of 382 bhp and 500 Nm of peak torque.

The car offers a top speed of 210 km per hour and can go from 0 to 100 kmph in just 4.9 seconds.

The BMW X4 M40i features a 12.3-inch digital driver’s display, 12.3-inch infotainment system, 16-speaker Harman Kardon sound system, a panoramic sunroof and ambient lighting.

The BMW X4 M40i is available in two colour options – Vernasca Black and Tacora Red.

The BMW X4 M40i will take on other luxury SUVs in India such as the Mercedes-Benz GLC, Land Rover Range Rover Velar and the Volvo C40 Recharge.
