The BMW iX1 has been priced at ₹66.90 lakh in India. The company has only launched the top-end variant of the electric SUV in India.

The BMW iX1 will be brought to India as a completely built unit (CBU).

The BMW iX1 is equipped with dual electric motors, fitted to each axle. It delivers a maximum power output of 308 bhp and 494 Nm of peak torque.

The BMW iX1 is equipped with a 66.4kWh battery pack which can be charged from 0-100 percent in 6.3 hours.

Using 130kW DC fast charge, the battery can be charged from 10 to 80 percent in just 29 minutes.

The BMW iX1 is claimed to offer a range of up to 440 km on a single charge.

It comes with a 10.25-inch digital driver’s display, a 10.7-inch infotainment display, Harman Kardon sound system, panoramic sunroof, ambient lighting, dual zone climate control and more.

The electric SUV comes with six airbags, ABS, stability control, traction control, electric parking brake, hill start assist, tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS), cruise control, automatic emergency braking and more.

The BMW iX1 competes with the recently announced Volvo C40 Recharge, Kia EV6 and the Hyundai Ioniq 5 in India.
