Here’s how the Adani group companies fared in FY23

Adani Enterprises

Adani Enterprises posted the highest revenue and profit growth amongst the group companies. Its net profit rose 218 percent to ₹2,473 crore while revenue surged 97 percent to ₹1.37 lakh crore in FY23. However, its net margin stood at just 1.8 percent, the second lowest in the group.

Adani Power

Adani Power topped the charts in terms of absolute profit – its net profit surged 118 percent to ₹10,727 crore, while revenue rose 40 percent to ₹38,773 crore in FY23. Its 27.7 percent net margin was the best among the group companies.

Adani Ports and Special Economic Zone

Adani Ports reported a moderate uptick in top line and bottom line. Net profit rose 9 percent to ₹5,310 crore while revenue grew 22 percent to ₹20,852 crore in FY23. Net margins were the second-highest in the group at 25.5 percent.

Adani Green Energy

Adani Green almost doubled its FY23 net profit to ₹973 crore from ₹489 crore in FY22. Revenue surged 52 percent to ₹7,792 crore. Net margins improved by 300 basis points to 12.5 percent during the year.

Ambuja Cements

The cement maker reported a 7 percent decline in net profit to ₹2,583 crore even though revenue rose 38 percent to ₹38,937 crore in FY23. Net margin fell sharply from 9.6 percent in FY22 to 6.6 percent in FY23.

ACC

ACC reported a sharp 52 percent decline in FY23 net profit to ₹885 crore even as revenue rose 38 percent to ₹22,210 crore. Net margin fell by a steep 750 basis points to 4 percent during the year.

Adani Wilmar

Net profit for FY23 fell by 28 percent to ₹582 crore while revenue saw a moderate 7-percent rise to ₹58,185 crore. Net margin fell marginally by 50 basis points to 1 percent, ranking it the lowest among the group companies in terms of margins.

Adani Total Gas

Adani Total Gas reported a 7 percent rise in FY23 net profit to ₹547 crore, while revenue increased by 46 percent to ₹4,683 crore. Its net margin shrunk 420 basis points to 11.7 percent during the year.

Adani Transmission

Adani Transmission reported a moderate increase of 4 percent in FY23 net profit to ₹1,256 crore while revenue increased 18 percent to ₹13,293 crore. Its net margin shrunk by 130 basis points in FY23 to 9.4 percent.

NDTV

NDTV is the only Adani group company to have reported a decline in both revenue and profit in FY23. Its net profit fell 39 percent to ₹49 crore, while revenue declined 3 percent to ₹386 crore.
