The 2022 Burgundy Private Hurun India issued a list of the top 10 most valuable unlisted companies, headquartered in India.

Serum Institute of India

Covid-19 vaccine producer Serum Institute of India holds the top position as the most valuable unlisted company on the list. In 2022, it increased its value by nearly 20 percent to ₹2.19 lakh crore.

BYJU’S

Indian edtech decacorn run by Byju Raveendran becomes the second most valuable company in the private space with a valuation of ₹1.82 lakh crore, overtaking NSE. It is also the highest valued company backed by PE/VC investors, as per the list.

National Stock Exchange of India

National Stock Exchange falls to third position of largest unlisted valuable company in India, with a value of ₹1.39 lakh crore. Currently Ashishkumar Chauhan is the Managing Director and CEO of NSE.

Swiggy

The Bengaluru-based food delivery company debuted in the list of top 10 most valuable companies in the unlisted space with a valuation of ₹88,600 crore, which surged significantly by 114.8 percent.

OYO

The Gurugram-based hospitality chain OYO Rooms, also known as OYO Hotels & Homes, increased its value by more than 10 percent to become fifth largest valuable company in the unlisted space at ₹77,800 crore .

The Indian fantasy sports startup run by Harsh Jain and Bhavit Sheth increased its value by over 10 percent to ₹66,200 crore in 2022.

Parle Products

The Parle-G, Monaco, Hide & Seek biscuits manufacturer has also debuted in the list of top 10 most valuable companies in the unlisted space with a valuation of ₹62,600 crore.

The Bengaluru-based payments solution company is another startup to enter the list for the first time, with a valuation of ₹62,100 crore.

The Bengaluru-based car rental company has also entered the top valuable list for the first time with a valuation of ₹60,500 crore.
