Cottonseed oil cake futures climb on spot demand

New Delhi, Mar 3 () Cottonseed oil cake prices on Tuesday traded up by Rs 59 to Rs 1,667 per quintal in futures trade as participants enlargened their positions in line with positive spot demand.

On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, cottonseed oil cake for delivery in March traded higher by Rs 59, or 3.67 per cent, to Rs 1,667 per quintal with an open interest of 71,560 lots.

Likewise for delivery in April, cottonseed oil cake traded up by Rs 60, or 3.69 per cent, to Rs 1,688 per quintal with an open interest of 48,170 lots.

Marketmen said raising of positions by participants amid a rising demand from cattle-feed makers mainly influenced cottonseed oil cake prices here. VHP SHWSHW
